Between 2007 and 2009 I found myself with 10 other men on a task group facilitating the transition from the old RI Training School to the new one. We had all been working for many years with young people involved in the Juvenile Justice system. One evening as we finished our meeting, we suddenly realized that we were all La Salle men. Without knowing it at a conscious level, it seemed to me that we had all been drawn to our work by the modeling and values instilled in us by the Good Brothers and, one might add the mysterious workings of the Holy Spirit. I had always thought it a privilege to be able to say, "I went to La Salle". That day, was when I really came to understand why it is a privilege.
